Dee S16 days agoKaren Joseph Salon is such a pretty salon located in downtown Red Bank. Staff members are very friendly and make their clients feel very comfortable. The massage chairs located at the shampoo stations are a great treat. Ali always does a great job cutting my hair. She takes her time cutting and blow drying my hair and makes suggestions if I want to change things up. I am always pleased when I walk out the door. When I left the salon this afternoon and was walking down the street someone yelled out of their car window that my hair looked beautiful! Can’t ask for more than that!Posted on Google

Once you enter and are situated, you are asked if you’d like a beverage - coffee, tea, water, even wine! Their waiting area is spectacular - with comfy chairs around a beautiful fireplace. I guess I should stop with the aesthetics of the salon as we know the talent of the stylists is the most important factor in choosing a salon. Let me just say, these ladies are the real deal. They have clean ropes, desserts, water, coffee, etc. You can see the effort they made to make this a nice and relaxing space. Now onto the hair part. Karen does such a great job each time. She never rushes and takes the time to understand my needs. I also very much like the treatment I get here - the scalp massages are always super relaxing. Even though we were not local clients, Karen went out of her way to accommodate us and make us feel welcome. She opened the salon early for us that day. Karen and Kaitlin gave us great comfort, throughout the entire planning process, that we could rely on them to help us out. Kaitlin was talented and professional, knowing and listening to exactly what we wanted, and fabulous stylist. Her calm and composed manner was definitely a comforting start to that hectic day. Aside from the accommodations, the shop was luxurious, clean and the staff were all so friendly. Aeryn McKenzie1920 days agoI've been going here since the day the salon opened and I will never go to another salon again. I followed my hairdresser (Alana) to this location from another salon and she is the best!!! I've been seeing her for years and she always delivers no matter how ridiculous my requests are. As a redhead with extremely pale skin, it's very hard to find a salon that can mix the right red shades and provide highlights or lowlights that don't make me look like I'm wearing a firetruck colored wig, but they developed two particular mixes (summer light and winter dark) just for me that are absolutely beautiful. When I first started my journey toward better hair I had split ends for days, frizzy breakage everywhere, and had been using grocery store box dyes for almost a decade. These girls gave their all to treat and heal my hair, fix the discoloration, and leave me with silky smooth supermodel waves within the first year. Karen (the owner) is so nice, she remembers everyone's names and always makes sure to stop by and say hi during appointments. Everyone in the salon makes sure you always have a coffee and a snack at the ready during the whole appointment, even if you're there for hours, so you absolutely feel pampered the whole time. They also sell all of the best products-- Kérastase, Olaplex, Christophe Robin --all the stuff you can't find anywhere other than a high-end salon. I love all the girls at Karen Joseph and highly recommend them to anyone that wants a team who really cares about what you want and need as a client.Posted on Google

After speaking with Kelly about previous services my hair had gone through, she listened and took my dry and over processed hair to a result I did not think was possible. My hair had been over-processed/chopped short after visiting prestigious salons in both NYC and New Jersey. I was convinced the color and style I wanted could not be achieved while remaining healthy. The salon itself is a DREAM! Immaculate and just so serene. I have been seeing Karen for a few years now and the moment I met her I knew how genuine she was and the passion she has for her profession. I can’t stress how many compliments I get on my hair, Karen gets it right every time. All the stylist here are so talented, up to date on the latest techniques and use the most luxurious products. I’ve been a client of Karen’s for 10 years and I’ve never been disappointed in my services. Karen always exceeds my expectations and then some! I don’t know what I’d do without her! Emily Walling2245 days agoSalon is gorgeous, was blown away by how nice the space Is. Definitely the nicest amenities I’ve seen locally. The salon is spotless. I’ve been nervous to get my hair done since salons have reopened during the pandemic and they go above and beyond with precautions to keep their customers safe. I had a full foil (blonde highlights) and haircut with Alana and she was excellent. Service And staff were great, I didn’t have to wait to be seen or for the stylist to juggle multiple customers. The last thing I wanted to do was go to a salon. I'm so glad I went. My experience at Karen Joseph Salon was so relaxing and rejuvenating that I am looking forward to my next appointment. This salon provides a tranquil and serene ambiance, comparable to a high-end spa. The service is impeccable! With each transition, from one service to the next, I was cared for with genuine effort. This is a place of peace and pamper alike, akin with people who are kind and gracious. christina lundborg2314 days agoKaren has been doing my hair for the last 15 years! I found her when I moved to Red Bank! I am so lucky to have found her! Her salon is absolutely GORGEOUS AND AMAZING! It’s a fabulous, beautiful, relaxing, zen luxurious oasis in the heart of Red Bank! From the moment you step in you feel as if your in a spa! The pictures don’t even do it justice!
