Risa is a graduate of Towson University, where she earned a degree in Mass Communications. She spent several years working as a writer and editor for Agora Publishing, Inc. in Baltimore, Maryland, as well as abroad in Waterford, Ireland. After relocating to New Jersey, Risa took time to focus on raising her three children. Outside of the salon, she enjoys listening to local live music, participating in community theater, and spending quality time with family, friends, and her beloved dog, Gingersnap.
